Prayer Calendar
Friday 3/7/08 Phil 4: 6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Saturday 3/8/08 Mark 10:43-4 ...whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all.
Sunday 3/9/08 1Cor 1:10 I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought.
Monday 3/10/08 Matt 19: 14 Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.
Tuesday 3/11/08 1 John 5: 1-2 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands.
Wednesday 3/12/08 Matt 22:37-9 ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
Thursday 3/13/08 Col 3:12-14 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect harmony.
Friday 3/14/08 Phil 1:6 …that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Saturday 3/15/08 Col 1:9- 12 ….since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light.
Sunday 3/16/08 (worship at Verbo) John 6:35, 39 I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all that he has given me.
