This event is a great opportunity to prepare for the celebration of the birth of Jesus at Christmas. After enjoying a pizza supper, families and children will create several Christmas keepsakes. Your entire family is welcome!
Our school’s annual Christmas Program takes place on the first Tuesday in December and features each class singing a special song and/or reciting a poem as well as participating in songs that are sung by all students. New and familiar holiday tunes are followed by milk and cookies in our fellowship hall. It’s a great way to get in the mood for Christmas!
During the second week in January we honor the special gentlemen in our lives. Dads, Grandpas and uncles are invited to join us on a designated Saturday for a special Pancake Breakfast. Make sure you take time to check out the children’s writings and drawings about their Dads and other favorite guys!
In February, students from our 4-year-old classes, Jr. Kindergarten, and Kindergarten embark on an imaginary trip to another country. They enjoy mock airplane rides and learn about this “new” country’s culture, language, and customs. It’s a great introduction to our wonderful world!
In March, students from our 2 ½ and 3-year-old classes investigate various modes of transportation. From runways and streets to railways and canals, they have great fun learning how to get around!
Each May, parents are invited to the Miller Center Art Gallery to view the literary and artistic creations of our students. Creativity abounds, and this is a great way to see how much your children learn and grow during their years at Grace!
Each spring, we celebrate our community with a ‘trip’ to Busytown in the Miller Center. Parents and community partners help us to create a village, and students explore the various restaurants, stores, crafts, and more!
