Greetings from Nicaragua!  Today was a great success.  The Grace team was blessed with the opportunity of caring for 125 grateful patients in our first clinic experience.  We saw everything from perforated ear drums to newly diagnosed diabetes.  The team worked very well together and we have all had a rewarding and very enjoyable time.

The prayer shawls have been well received.  The recipients have been overjoyed when they are presented.   All the hours of hard work by the knitwits was worth it.

Of course upon returning to the orphanage we played the kids in one thrill filled soccer match.  I think the kids won!  Thankfully, nobody was injured.  We are all starting to really feel at home here.  Our host, Joy, has been very gracious. 

Dinner tonight was great and we were all “starving” which made us all the more grateful.

We are preparing for our evening devotions after which I’m sure we will all sleep well.

We are excited for tomorrow.
