Children
Welcome to Sunday School

The Word of God comes to us in many ways: through the reading and hearing of the gospel, through helping people, in song and celebration, through the Holy Sacraments.  Children will experience all of this and more in Sunday school at Grace Lutheran Church.  Please come!

If your child is a baptized member of Grace Lutheran Church, or if he/she attended Sunday School at Grace last year, he/she has been automatically enrolled in Sunday School for this year.  There are enrollment forms in each classroom for those who are new to Grace.

I you have special needs (especially allergies) or concerns regarding Sunday school, please contact Pastor Alison or Cindy Fritz, Ministry Assistant.  (church office, 238-2478).

RALLY DAY IS SEPTEMBER 19, 2010 - Classes are available for children beginning at age 2.

Rotational Sunday School - We will be using rotation Sunday School format again this year after a succesful year in 2009-2010. The first rotation is "THE BATTLE OF JERICO". This format teaches Bible stories and concepts through kid-friendly multimedia workshops.  Kids in grades Kindergarten through Sixth grade rotate each week to a different workshop.  Students will spend time creating art, cooking foods, and listening and retelling stories related to the theme.  Children in grades K - 6 should be dropped off and picked in their home room. Children in grades kindergarten through sixth, if arriving after 9:05 am, please join your class in Harkins Hall.

Parents: We are always looking for guides, leaders for workshops, and substitutes.  Workshop leaders usually need only teach 4 out of 6 weeks. If available to help or lead, please contact Pastor Alison or Cindy Fritz.
