Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the lands!
Serve the LORD with gladness!
Come into his presence with singing!
Psalm 100:1-2

Adult Choir

The Adult Choir is directed by Jan Mianulli and meets every Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. in the sanctuary for rehearsal.  We sing at the Sunday 10:30 a.m. worship services from September through early June and occasionally at 9:00 a.m. services.  No auditions are required; basic music reading skills are helpful.  Singing in the choir is a wonderful way to get a sneak preview and better understanding of the weekly lessons; to explore your faith through music; to expand your circle of friends; and to play a meaningful part in worship.  Come on a Thursday evening and see if the choir is something you would enjoy!

Bell Choir

The Bells of Grace, directed by Anna Carol Buffington

The Bells of Grace is an adult bell choir that is open to all levels of experience.  We rehearse on Sundays immediately after the end of the 10:30 am service, with occasional changes in rehearsal time to Sunday evenings at 7 p.m. in the Sanctuary.

We also offer an opportunity for children to ring via our Sing ‘n Ring Choir, which meets on Super Wednesdays from 5 – 5:45 p.m. in the choir room (below the Sanctuary).

The Bells of Grace Plant Sale Ends May 12, 2017 – Brighten your garden with annuals purchased from The Bells of Grace! Special Music

Soloists, instrumentalists, and small groups are sought regularly to provide liturgically appropriate music for 9 and 10:30 am Sunday services and occasional parish events.  Special music is planned, scheduled, and often rehearsed by Laurel Sanders, Worship and Music Coordinator.  The goal is to ensure all musical selections add inspiration to our worship and parish life and are reflective of the readings and messages for each season and service.  For more information, contact Laurel Sanders.

Youth Choir

“Crossfire,” Grace Lutheran’s youth choir, welcomes all students in grades 6-12 who love to sing! Our choir currently has approximately 15 singers and we rehearse from 10 – 10:30 on most Sunday mornings (after Sunday School, during coffee hour, between the 9 and 10:30 services) from mid-September through late spring. We sing approximately 6-8 times per year for the traditional Sunday services (typically at 10:30 and sometimes at 9) and we present one or two special programs each year, including an annual Lessons and Carols program and occasional staged productions that contribute to our parish life.  For details, contact Laurel Sanders at lsanders@glcpa.org .
